Introducing Tails of the Afterglow: an NFT PFP Project of RDG

We see you lurking — trying to catch a glimpse of our dope foxes in the metaverse. These foxes have come a long way from the starting point, but we have received tremendous support from everyone. Real Deal Guild (RDG) is proud to introduce Tails of the Afterglow, a unique collection of 7,777 dope foxes roaming around the grounds of Polygon Blockchain.

What Inspired the Creation Of TAG?

The Tails of the AfterGlow, popularly known as TAG is heavily inspired by foxes — the RDG’s emblem. BUT where does the fox come from?

During the inception of RDG, its founders were looking for a distinguishable yet memorable logo for the guild. During that time, the Facebook Display Picture of Benn, RDG founder, was that one of his KOGs NFT, which was a pixelated image of a red fox. Teasingly, the team founders proceeded with the red fox as the RDG logo. It soon became a distinctive brand for the guild and has been the representation of the RDG community.

During its early months of existence, RDG was a small guild with only 90 scholars. As of writing, the guild consists of 63000 members, and the number is still on the rise. Many of the scholars have become managers already, inspiring the newbies in building their own empires someday. Some of these scholars turned managers are Qee, Smoker, Feitan, Shadlie, ExwhyZz and Sayson, who are now helping the community in educating Filipinos about NFTs.

The prestige and distinction of RDG has left an impression in the hearts of its community, particularly those people it has helped during the pandemic. The founders are normal people like us who have dreamed of a world where NFTs and the crypto world in general are valued in our society. Even though they started from scratch, they managed to achieve lots of milestones while keeping their feet on the ground. Indeed, TAG is just the start of the great things that are about to come as the community unites as one.

In retrospect, RDG was a social guild made up of various players who wanted to have a good time earning money through Play to Earn Games. Eventually, they became one of the pioneering gaming guilds in the Philippines that recognized the potential of blockchain-based games and its play-to-earn movement.

The community has since evolved into an avenue of learning and fun through educating Filipinos about NFTs and conducting activities that boost its members’ morale. Now, the time has come to unveil one of its latest projects and be immersed in the TAG Life hype.

The TAG art style is heavily inspired with dope foxes dressed in fashionable clothes and some high-tech gadgetry. Foxes are known to be clever, adaptable, and passionate, which also describe our community. This also applies to RDG’s mission to spearhead blockchain games to the world and give people economic opportunities through the Play-to-Earn Revolution.

TAG is a project curated with RDG’s “Pay-It-Forward” value in mind. With our ambition to offer ventures that elevate the experience of our community, we establish TAG as an NFT that can serve as a guild PFP badge. People may underestimate it’s value, but TAG isn’t just a piece of JPEG profile pic, every TAG holders will have all the possibilities to become a leader that will that lead and guide future generations, carrying the RDG mission and vision in their journey.

The Team Behind the Creation Of TAG

TAG is a great project but it was never made overnight. It took months of planning and coordination with people whose skills and experience proved to be beneficial to the inception of this project.
