Tutorial: How To Mint TAG?
The long wait is over! After a couple of months of working around the clock, our unique collection of 7,777 dope digital fox artworks (NFTs) roaming on the Polygon blockchain network, the Tails of the AfterGlow, is now ready to TAG and meet their worthy comrade! #GetTAGbyTAG
First off, you would need to setup the following to prepare for the minting process:
- Metamask wallet set on Polygon Network

All done? Now, I believe you’re all set and ready to mint your TAG! Please keep in mind the following schedule for minting:
Immortal — April 5, 8:00 PM (GMT +8)
Ancient — April 6, 8:00 PM (GMT +8)
Public — April 7, 8:00 PM (GMT +8)
Here are the steps to mint your TAG!
For Desktop/PC/Laptop User:
Step 1.
Unlock your Metamask and make sure of the following requirements:
- Connected to Polygon network
- Have $MATIC fund for Minting (minting cost + gas fee)
Step 2.
Go to TAG Mint Page: https://mint.tailsafterglow.io
Step 3.
Click the “CONNECT YOUR WALLET” button.
Step 4.
A Metamask authorization will pop-up for you to sign the transaction. Click “Next,” and then the “Connect” button to proceed.
A warning message will pop up if your wallet is set to a different network.
Otherwise, it will successfully connect, and the “MINT” button will immediately appear if your minting period has started.
Step 5.
Choose the number of TAG NFTs you want to mint, and click “MINT” to mint your NFT.
Note: Whitelisted wallets can only mint a max of two (2) NFTs during the whitelist minting; unlimited minting during the public sale is allowed but maximum of five (5) NFTs mint per transaction for both whitelisted and non-whitelisted wallets.
Step 6.
A Metamask transaction will pop-up for transaction authorization. Click the “Confirm” button to continue.
Note: Gas fee cost will depend on the Polygon network. You are also free to edit the gas fee however you desire to set it.
Step 7.
Wait for the transaction to go through.
Once you’ve successfully minted your TAG, you will receive a message saying, “You have successfully minted TAG NFT. Visit Opensea.io to view it.”
Step 8.
Go to https://opensea.io/collection/tailsafterglow to check your NFT. Wait for the announcement for the reveal.
Note: It might take around 10–15 minutes before your minted TAG NFT will populate in the OpenSea site, depending on the network traffic.
For MetaMask Mobile/Tablet Users:
Step 1.
Prepare for the minting process.
- Download the MetaMask application.
Whether you’re using an IOS or an Android, make sure to download it through the links here:
- Ready your $MATIC fund.

Step 2.
Unlock your Metamask and make sure of the following:
- Your network is connected to Polygon
- Your $MATIC fund is enough depending on how many TAG NFTs you want to mint (minting cost + gas fee)
Reminder that the cost will be as follows:
- Ancient and Immortal — 70 $MATIC
- Public — 80 $MATIC
Step 3.
Go to TAG Mint Page by searching it through the MetaMask browser: https://mint.tailsafterglow.io
Step 4.
Click the “CONNECT YOUR WALLET” button.
Step 5.
A Metamask authorization will pop-up for you to sign the transaction.
Click “Next,” and then the “Connect” button to proceed.
If your wallet is set to a different network, a warning message will pop up. Hence, the need to change it by following the steps here.
Otherwise, it will successfully connect. Now, you should see the “MINT” button if your minting period has started.
Step 6.
Click the “+” button until you reach the number of TAG NFTs you want to mint. After checking if you’ve selected the right number, click “MINT” to mint your NFT.
Note: Whitelisted wallets can only mint a max of two (2) NFTs during the whitelist minting; unlimited minting during the public sale is allowed but maximum of five (5) NFTs per transaction and unlimited mint for both whitelisted and non-whitelisted wallets.
Step 7.
A Metamask transaction will pop-up for transaction authorization.
Note: Gas fee cost will depend on the Polygon network. However, it is also possible to edit the GWEI for fast transactions, if you desire to do so.
Click the “Sign” button to continue.
Step 8.
Wait for the transaction to go through.
Once you’ve successfully minted your TAG, you will receive a message saying, “You have successfully minted TAG NFT. Visit Opensea.io to view it.”
Step 9.
Go to https://opensea.io/collection/tailsafterglow to check what you’ve minted.
Wait for the announcement on when we will reveal your NFTs.
Note: It might take around 10–15 minutes before your minted TAG NFT will populate in the OpenSea site, depending on the network traffic.
